July 4th, the night before we leave for our vacation in Cambridge, I was trying to sleep, and was having trouble. Around 6am or so, I heard that familiar scratching. I thought,”What, the raccoon is back?” Then I thought to myself, “It sounds like it is right there.” I pulled back the curtain and I can see the addition area and sure enough, I see a raccoon tail hanging down from the roof. I was like, “No! Don’t go in there!” and I knocked on the window. The tail disappeared up into the attic. D’oh.

Now we are back and I am ready to set the trap up there and see if I can catch it.
