Blah, now I’m having an issue with my regular doctor’s bill. Apparently, having my ears flushed with water is considered “surgery” and now in addition to a $30 copay, I have to pay $39.82 for the procedure itself!!!!
I questioned why I never had to pay that much in the past, but I couldn’t tell the billing agent at my doctor’s office specifically when I went to have the procedure done. I just know I have to go like every six months or so. Sometimes it seems like I have to do it all the time.
She was able to tell me that I had it done in December of 2005, and I paid $7.96 for it. That makes sense to me. $39.82 does not.
She couldn’t find record of me having it done since December 2005, but I know I’ve had it done multiple times.. I know I had it done on January 8th when I had my CT scan appointment with Johns Hopkins. But apparently, the nurse didn’t record that I had it done, or something.
