Hi Carolyn, I’ve come over from Clint’s blog. I read this article earlier today and felt sick to my stomach - then I felt angry - angry at the thought that there’s parents like this in the world. Angry they hadn’t been neutered. I think people are assholes because their parents were..? Anyway, I’m also here to make nice-nice, having chosen a pic of you that was your least favorite. But lissen, you could wear a raccoon hat on your head and still look beautiful, okay?! I thought the row of pics in different do’s was so awesome that I went ahead and did my own series - and I invite you to come on over to Puc’s place and check them out. However, if the post offends you in the least, all you have to do is tell me and I’ll take it right down, okay? I probably should have asked permission before drawing attention to Clint’s blog, for that I apologize. BTW, you’ve got a mighty fine blog here yourself..
Christ….I hadn’t seen this article until now. Even though the (cruel) death of the kitten in the article is seriously upsetting, what upsets me a bit more is how emotionally fucked up this guy’s children will be in the future. Can you imagine what a traumatic memory that will be for the seven year old girl? I mean, she probably loved the pet, and her FATHER forced her to kill it? She’s probably going to partially blame herself and have all sorts of guilt mixed up with it.
Argh. I hope he rots in jail for the rest of his life. I know he won’t, though..
I can’t believe how irresponsible a lot of parents are these days. The world is really fucked up.
In the past year, there just seems to be a lot more news stories involving parents killing children, children shooting children, and everyone killing animals. But maybe these types of atrocities have been around all long and I just notice it more because I read a lot more news nowadays than I used to, but either way, it’s pretty upsetting.
